My Bel-Air Auto Experienced began four years ago. I met Greg and I knew that besides being a great businessman, he was meant to be a friend. After buying my truck Greg and I stayed in touch. Throughout the years, he mentored me on automotive issues way beyond my expertise. Through him, I befriended two outstanding auto specialists which helped whenever I needed him. This week I visited his shop. I saw a red truck which captivated my attention. A few days later, I bought my second truck from him. Went as smooth as could be. We arrived the first day, checked out the van, put down the deposit. We came back the very next day, Greg had all the paperwork , registration, plates etc., completed properly to the very last detail. Paid the balance in full, drove away.
And to top it all off, Greg even lent us a vehicle overnight for free, so we wouldn't have to pay cab fare back and forth.

I bought a used SUV - an older Ford Expedition - from Greg at Bel-Air Auto, this week (9/29/22). It's looking like a great buy so far! Everything works, everything is clean, the ignition and handling, mechanical and electronic operations are all excellent.
Some high notes:
* The pricing for this vehicle was right "in the middle" of cars for this age and a slightly higher mileage. Let me say that in different words: Bel-Air charged me a bit less than I would expect for this car.
* For this car, CarFax has what appears to be a complete history of service, over thirty entries. I know that's luck of the draw - on the other hand, again, it's additional value for the used-car buyer to know what service and replacements have been done!
* The third-party inspection was notably happy with all of their checklist, with no concerns or failed checks. It's even got new brakes and rotors (CarFax says: less than 5000 miles old)!
* Bel-Air met my needs for an accelerated delivery. That turns out to have saved my family about a half a thousand dollars on a rental in the coming week. Frankly, that was a huge benefit to dealing with them.
Would definitely buy from them again. Talk to Greg, the owner; and don't let the dog out when you're coming in the door!

I'm not someone who writes a lot of reviews (or any). I recently bought a used 2002 Toyota Tundra and the experience was incredible. Greg provided me a great price including everything I was looking for. He was upfront and honest about everything and went way out of his way to make sure all of my needs were met. When I picked up the truck, Greg had even provided a brake job and oil change (no charge). If you are shopping for a used vehicle, I would strongly recommend you check Bel-Air out. He only buys vehicles that were meticulously previously maintained. I traveled over an hour just to see his inventory. If he doesn't have the car on his lot you want, he will do everything he can to get it for you. 5 STARS!!!
Just bought a Ford Escape Hybrid L from Bel Air Auto and had it transported from Connecticut to Michigan. I had absolutely the best experience I could have imagined, especially for a remote purchase!
Greg is the man! He stayed in active contact with me through the process and paperwork, as well as after it was out of his hands for delivery (I used A and A Car Transport, highly recommended as well). Besides being just a nice guy, Greg was straight and honest about everything right and wrong with the car, and easily worked with me to navigate my remote buying situation. He gave me a great discount for my service work, and provides discounts for other folks like veterans and such as well, besides providing a lot of genuine attention.
Buying a car is usually a real hassle, but Greg made this easy as can be. And upon arrival, the car is in fantastic condition, maybe even better than advertised! After all the business, I feel like I was buying a car from a friendly relative instead of a combative sales huckster like you get at a lot of dealerships.
Eventually I'll be looking to trade up, and I'll be back to Bel Air when I do!
Found this place because I was stuck in traffic in front. A lucky break! I was looking for a truck for my girlfriends son & we found the perfect F 150 for him. Greg went above and beyond to help us with several paperwork issues that had to be resolved on our end before we could purchase the truck. I recently purchased a van from Greg at Bel Air to turn into a camper and move across the country with. Greg was professional and upfront about everything with the van, and even let me test drive it to a mechanic to get a pre vehicle inspection done. As he had said, it was a work van and needed a bit of work done- but was happy to complete the necessary mechanic upkeep that was needed without raising the price on me. He was upfront about his dealer fee and gave me a total amount that he stayed true to the entire time and was what I ended up paying. He registered the van under my name so I didn’t have to deal with the dmv, and then he even let me take it into a second mechanic to make sure everything was ok before I dropped a large sum of money on what will be my mode of transport as well as my home. Who ever would have thought that the words "Honest" and "Car salesman" could be used in the same sentence? Well, here it goes: Greg, owner of Bel Air Auto, proved to be one of the most honest and up-front used car salesmen we have ever dealt with. The vehicle we were interested in was a trade-in but was perfect for our needs, as we weren't looking for new, just something to plow with when the snow flies. Knowing it wasn't a "Front Line" vehicle, Greg let us know all he could on the truck ( both good and bad). Coming from a distance of 100+/- miles away, Greg respected the fact that we had traveled that far and was determined to ensure a smooth transaction, in which he did. He was accommodating to our entire family and even our pup, who got to meet Jasper inside the showroom as we finalized the paperwork. Greg's positive energy was refreshing and is an excellent example of what car salesmen should be. Although Bel Air presents as a small car dealership, it is certainly out-sized by the family legacy and values it represents.
